Eleanor and Park
Two outcasts find each
other. Bullying and harassment. Gym class hell. Child abuse and neglect.
Spousal abuse. Prejudice. Danger.
Funny dialogue, well drawn characters. It
definitely has a dark side—Eleanor’s life is not a field of Shasta daisies either
at home or in school.

The Raven Boys, by Maggie Stiefvater
“There are only two reasons a
non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve, Blue. Either you’re his true
love…or you killed him.”
The best part? If you like this one, it's just the first in a trilogy. Book 2, The Dream Thieves, was just released. and the book on CD is coming right behind it.
